TTG was the retail consultant for The Strand in downtown Galveston, Texas. On the National Register of Historic Places, The Strand, a district of 19th century cast iron buildings and the historic shopping street was underperforming with several vacancies. After evaluating the district’s potential as a factory outlet center, TTG guided local architects and the team in revitalizing the area. by repositioning buildings for outlet retail, implementing innovative marketing, and securing leases. With national chains and independent tenants, we helped transform it into a shopping and entertainment district.
